Biking

I started mountain biking in 1998 when I moved to NC and bought a mountain bike from a friend. I only rode sporadically, though. I did take my bike with me when I spent the summer of 2000 in Silicon Valley and rode a bit there but it wasn't until 2003 when a group of TriLUG members decided to start riding regularly that I really go into it. Since then, I've ridden somewhat regularly (some times more than others), upgraded my bike, and joined the local regional bike club and the National Mountain Bike Patrol.
